Let’s look at acumen of this company and their victory mantra through the below question answers.
Inventiva: What is the Name of Your Venture? Any specific reason for this name?
The Name of my Venture is “REHAB YOGA.” Actually, this name was not decided, it just automatically made its place after the whole concept and best suited with the ideology of theme and services.
Inventiva: Who is your target Audience/clients?
Rehab Yoga’s target audience is not limited to Yoga Practitioners and Teachers only, however it covers each and every individual on the planet who wish to move with awareness and prevent Musculoskeletal (mainly, Muscles & Joints) related injuries. People Like; Fitness enthusiasts, Athletes, Gym Junkies, Early Birds in the parks, or someone moving in their room watching yoga or fitness videos.
However, since now a days many yogis are getting injured on the mat due to lack of awareness of Anatomy and Biomechanics therefore, primary audience will be Yoga practitioners and teachers.
Rehab Yoga has multiple levels and teaching modules, which cater the needs of each and every individual from a Yoga practitioners, Athlete to a sedentary life style population.
Therefore all of those who already have some or the other Musculoskeletal injuries or those who wish to prevent injures can join Rehab Yoga programs.

Inventiva: What problems does your venture resolve? What are your products or services?
Rehab Yoga mainly deals in;

Therefore, in Rehab Yoga, we focus on avoiding and minimizing Yoga posture related injuries on Mat by educating Yoga practitioners and Teachers on the topics including but not limited to; corrective alignments, Applied Anatomy and Individual Biomechanics by doing unique testing and assessments.
Therefore it’s a must know thing for all human beings weather they move or not.
Inventiva: Share the idea or story behind the venture. How did it come to existence? What motivated you to start your own venture?
I am involved in fitness industry for more then a decade now and working with clients and professionals on various aspects including;
Group classes etc.
I have a registered company by the name of Professional Fitness Education Institute Pvt. Ltd. and Rehab Yoga is a sister company of the same.
When I did my professional Yoga teachers training course from Rishikesh, there I found how postures/asanas are been taught with traditional approach, which was a great experience for me, however at the same time I found many people who couldn’t do those postures and I could easily figure out why due to my experience in movement based trainings and depth knowledge of Anatomy and Biomechanics.
I kept seeing people struggling in achieving so called perfect postures/asanas.
Since I was already teaching same principles to fitness professionals, it gave me an opportunity to make something for Yoga community where people are moving on the Mat blindly and getting injuries.
Therefore I started working on the same and created Rehab Yoga primarily for Yoga practitioners and Professionals but not limited to them only.
The holistic approach of Rehab Yoga is for each and every individual who wish to live injury free.
In today’s date there are many researches and articles which are proving now as how physicians are getting more patients due to number of injures which are increasing on the Mat.
I have posted few articles on my Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/Gaurav.RehabYoga/
I have wrote couple of blogs also to address the same issues:-
Therefore to serve the community by sharing my little experience among the main leaders & teachers whom people are following became my first priority and I started sharing my knowledge with Yoga teachers so that they can serve their clients with more awareness and save them from any upcoming traumas.
Inventiva: Who are your biggest competitors and how do you differentiate yourself from them?
Being a Yoga Student, I don’t believe in competitions, My first priority is always to serve the community and society in a better way.
This world is my home and everyone who is doing yoga anywhere is equally my responsibility because they are doing something, which belongs to my country Bharat/India thus they should get it right.
Since yoga has become popular, especially Yoga asanas in the western society therefore everyone is moving towards aesthetics and in that race many are getting injuries because healthy movement knowledge is missing among modern yogis due to various reasons.
Rehab Yoga is certainly different then others because it is bridging the Gap between traditional and modern teaching techniques so practitioners can gain more benefits from practice rather then injuries and can understand logically how and why to specific Asanas/Postures.
Inventiva: How did you identify your co-founder? Tell us some thing about your co-founder/s
In this regard, I would just say that My better half “Preeti Chauhan” is a co-founder of our company, she always gave her unconditional support and accepted all my decisions with full faith.
Undoubtedly she works more then me for our growth and I must say she is the driving force behind me.
Inventiva: How did you hired your first team members? What skills do you want in your employees/team?
I am one Man Army
Inventiva: What expansion plans are you looking for the next 2 years, next 5 years?
In coming 2 years I am planning to launch Rehab Yoga studios for general population in New Delhi, so that common people can also get direct benefits and holistic health of Rehab Yoga. In 5 years will expend all over india and overseas.
Inventiva: Where do you want to see yourself in next 10 years?
I am a very content person and happy to go with a flow, In the end it’s not about me reaching anywhere however in next 10 years i would be more then happy to see everyone doing some meaningful movements on the Mat. For that matter if I have to make more efforts then I will.
Inventiva: What are your immediate goals over the next 1, 3, 6 and 12 months?
Rehab Yoga’s immediate goals are to launch advanced courses for yoga practitioners and teachers, which are usually missing in Yoga Syllabus.
Inventiva: Have you raised any funding? Or have any plans for the funding?
No, We haven’t raised any funding until now. All the services of Rehab Yoga have been delivered to the Yoga Professionals in their own respective locations, cities & countries by travelling.
We might have some plans of funding in near future when we will setup a Rehab Yoga School, University & Yoga Therapy Hospitals for higher purposes.
Inventiva: What were the problems you faced during the starting days and how did you resolve them?
Like every startup we also had few challenges; first challenge was how to market something which people are not aware of and how to get first training done.
Therefore I started with my close connections and some fitness friends who already attended few courses with me before.
I thank everyone for showing their trust on me and participated in my first ever Rehab Yoga course.
The challenges are still there for those places where people still haven’t heard or tried something like this but in other parts of the world Rehab Yoga is flourishing happily.
Inventiva: What was the most challenging part of your journey till now? How did you overcome those challenges?
Life is itself a challenge, its like a game of chess where you have to be very careful of your each move and decide in advance by taking full control of how others should move in their next step, therefore I like to enjoy each and every step of it and take it carefully with few options and alternatives in hand so that game stays in my hands.
To be very frank, until now I didn’t face anything, which I should even call as a challenge maybe because I always feel content in receiving and show gratitude to divine.
Inventiva: What are your hobbies? What do you do in your non-work time?
My hobbies kept changing time to time and for last few years it is to keep upgrading my skills and knowledge regarding my profession and then share further with the community.
I like to study and make new relevant contents for my audience in my free time.
I turned my passion into work therefore, I never felt like working, so there are no office or non-work hours to me.
I always enjoy sharing knowledge and traveling around the world.
Apart from that I like to spend time with myself in silence, therefore I like to Meditate whenever possible.
Inventiva: Whom do you consider your idol or biggest motivator?
I as a Soul, which is a part of supreme lord itslef, always consider the Godhead itself to be my idol and motivator, it is Him due to which we all living beings are able to do what we are doing, no human being can replace Him.
As mentioned in Shrimad Bhagwat Gita Chapter 7: Knowledge of the Absolute “Lord Krishna is the Supreme Truth, the supreme cause and the sustaining force of everything, both material and spiritual.
Advanced souls surrender unto Him in devotion, whereas impious souls divert their minds to other objects of worship” therefore I cant demean his superiority by mentioning any random human name for my doings.
Inventiva: What do you feel is the major difference between entrepreneurs and those who work for someone else?
Everyone has their own potentials, risk taking capacities and comfort zones.
Depending on these aspects one chooses weather to work for himself or for someone else, however in the end one has to work, either for himself as an entrepreneur or for someone else to him one.
For me what matters is, how one is working keeping Honesty, Integrity, Commitment, Accountability & Responsibility in mind and most importantly remembering divine in his all doings and being grateful for whatever he is getting.
As per me that is the most important skillset for a human being to possess rather than worrying about his own work or someone else, in the end work is Karma, which is our true Dharma.
Inventiva: If you had the chance to start your career over again, what would you do differently?
There is no use of crying over spill milk, If it was supposed to be happened that way, then definitely I would not have crossed all those oceans to be here today.
There were definitely some other purposes to be solved and to go through to get some learning and experiences, which I am always grateful of and I always believe that “Nothing is as it seems and whatever happens, happens for good”, therefore I will just focus in my present consciously to make my coming future fruitful for everyone, rest its up to divine.
We can keep planning things but He already has designed all the schedules, we just have to be there on time to not to miss out on the opportunities.
Inventiva: How has being an entrepreneur affected your family & Social life?
As I mentioned earlier, with God grace I am the fortunate one to have this life where I can work from home and spend time with my loved ones at the same time, what else one can wish for.
My family, social & spiritual life, all going hand in hand and I am enjoying it the most.
Inventiva: Anything, you would like to say to our readers or upcoming entrepreneurs?
Just follow your heart, keep your thoughts in control, take decisions consciously, do everything you wish for but be more aware and ask two questions from yourself; how your actions will affect others and would you wish the same for your family and loved ones.
If the second answer is YES then go ahead with full heart, no one can stop you from achieving whatever you wish for.
Inventiva: Tell us something about your education & family background.
I come from a middle class Hindu family and born and raised in Delhi only.
I was always a playing kid since childhood and always wanted to go out and play around whole day with friends, I found myself fortunate for those days as my own kids don’t have that luxury now due to unavailability of playing grounds.
As I turned 18, I started working and have worked in multiple fields just to stand on my own feet and be independent, since beginning wherever I worked, I always stepped further and improved from my own experiences.
Working in various fields gave me immense exposure and learning, which I still use in my present life.
I have done my Masters in Yoga, apart from that I have done many studies and certifications in fitness, strength and conditioning, functional trainings, rehabilitation, therapies, soft tissues, neuro mobilization etc.
Inventiva: What is your USP which makes it unique & different from other start-ups in similar domains.
Rehab Yoga USP is to provide unique skills and techniques what others are lacking as whole in yoga industry.
On top of that it’s passion to serve using whole life experience to the end user with honesty, integrity and accountability.
Inventiva: What do you think is the biggest threat to the success of small businesses & Start-ups today?
Everything revolves around an individual, who has first started the start up or small business but then over a period of time due to loosing track, passion, commitment, key principles, honesty, integrity, dropping of quality and running behind only money are few reasons of threat.
Therefore, an entrepreneur should be truthful to overcome all such issues.
Inventiva: Do you consider yourself successful and by what means do you measure success?
According to me, Success should be dynamic thing, it can’t be consistent, if you will feel you are successful then your growth will stop, you will become lethargic, you won’t like to move now, therefore, Every time I see a person getting changed positively or achieving something higher in life due to my teachings then I feel successful and at the same time when I see someone is still struggling or stuck to make changes then i consider it as my failure and I try to work on those parameters to make them also achieve their goals.
